Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to help lead our exceptional Nursery team. Could that be you?

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be passionate about caring for children and truly making a difference and be qualified to Level 3 is an advantage.

About the Position

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting.
  • Work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
  • Keep records of your key children's development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child's life
  • Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.
  • Work alongside the SLT and Staff team to ensure that the setting and schools’ philosophy is fulfilled.
  • Ensure a good standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of relevant and recognised Level 3 Qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience working in Early Years Settings.
  • Experience and understanding of implementation of EYFS.
  • Be enthusiastic and passionate about starting a career within education/childcare and making a difference to children's lives.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to develop and maintain good professional relationships and contribute positively to school development.
