Flexible Timings, Fees & Funding

Flexible Timings

We understand the demands of modern family life, which is why Little Martins Nursery is open for 36 weeks a year, from 8:00am to 6:00pm as an extended offer and 8.30am to 3.30pm for normal school day. Our extended hours are designed to support parents' busy schedules while providing a stable and consistent environment for your child.

Fees and Funding

Little Martins Nursery Fees are £56 per day. We are pleased to participate in the Government Nursery Education Grant funding which entitles your child to 15 hours per week of subsidised child care. We also offer 30 hours of funding for working parents. The term after your child’s third birthday, you will also be able to claim up to 30 hours per week if eligible.

Please see details below of our offering:

  • 2 year olds: Families can receive 15 hours of funded working parent childcare for children aged 2 years.

  • 3 & 4 year olds: Families can receive 15 & 30 hours (for working parents) of funded childcare for children aged 3 years+.

The funded hours are provided across 36 weeks during term time. For 15 hours you must do a minimum of 3 days. For 30 hrs, you must do a minimum of 5 days.

We carefully structure our timetable to help parents maximise their 30 hours of funding. However, in order to enjoy the full Preparatory School benefits, additional charges are made for specialist, high-quality teaching provision.

About Funding

*Your child will automatically receive 15 hours funding the term following their 3rd birthday.  To claim the additional 15 hours, you will need to visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check your eligibility and apply.

Deductions are made from the school fees on qualifying for the 15 hour or 30 hour free childcare entitlement, once an eligibility code has been obtained from 30 hours free childcare - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Please contact the office for further details, who will be happy to talk you through the process.
